I got the following link from Kyle :
—-> Conscience Citoyenne <—-
It mainly concerns Mauritians, anyway those who can read French are still welcome to view it.
We all (Mauritians) have been through and heard enough about the recent floods that hit us. It’s nearly a month and what has been done? Nothing much I would say. It’s only now that we find the local authorities busy cleaning up and repairing water drains and bridges all over the country. It’s never too late you might say, but it is too late for those who lost their lives due to the incompetency of so many who supposedly “care for our wellbeing”.
The linked blog has been set up to vent the outrage of the population at those who rule the country, simply to say that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We are fed up with your constant bullshit of finding stupid reasons to claim your innocence whenever something goes wrong.
Usually, it’s the “Rising oil prices, World economic situation, Former government” crap - but now, it’s “Climate change” to be blamed for. Right.
There’s a petition on the blog, that will run until the end of April. Sign it, if like me - you believe that it’s right time for those politician baby dolls to feel the heat the way it’s meant to be. Give those responsible the boot if that’s what they deserve, and surely that is what the Dishonourable Minister of Education deserves. This guy’s been messing up ever since he took up his job and it’s high time for him to make way for someone who CAN do the job.
You can also not agree to sign the petition if you believe our country is being governed by the best (there are some who think like that). I’ll respect that, but I’ll advise you to go and royally stick it up yours.
Have a nice weekend =)

looks like we share the same sentiments…. our nation…
I am not the best pro-citizen type of person, but then again - sometimes it’s disgusting how some people think they almost ‘own us’ simply because they enjoy some power.
