Farewell My White ‘Beast’

This is one post that I intended to post quite some days back, oh well, better late than never eh :P.

It’s been more than 2 weeks now that I’ve put up my car for sale, she’s at one of those second hand car dealerships that take a percentage commission on the sale of the car - that means less hassle for me :P. I’ve left her at ‘Espace Auto’ found at the ‘Centre Commercial de Phoenix’, the guy in charge knows my bro-in-law well and bla bla bla, all I knew is that I had to go leave my dear 306 there, rather reluctantly I have to say.

It’s funny how I always need to part with the cars I have when I get to really like them a lot, it happened last year when the Mitsubishi Lancer I was driving was sold - I then got the 306 - and now again, same story - 1 car out, another one in, I know I should not be complaining about that :P I am lucky enough to be getting something to move around in :).

BUT! Still, if I had a choice, I would have kept my 306 even if I now have a newer car (a Renault Clio - Nov 04) because I do feel some kind of ‘attachment’ to her - no this is no bullsh*t :P - I only mean that after driving a car for more than a year, someone must at least feel some kind of liking for the vehicle… or not? :P
Alrite.. I give up, am a petrol head [ who doesn’t know that? ] and I loved my 306, she’s not a racing car - unfortunately :P - but did managed to get me to 185 km/h on one occasion [ adrenaline rush YEAAAAAAAA baby :D ], gave me loads of thrills and more along with quite a number of frightening near misses [ yup, some more adrenaline rush there :P ]. This is may be why I’ve come to like her so much ^^.

Anyway, I hope the possible new owner will treat her well, at least better than I did (A) - hrem, no comments on that :P.

Note: I call a car a ‘SHE’, as seen in the post, as opposed to the normally accepted ‘IT’, that’s just me *LARGE SMILE*

    Yea, may be u’r right, but that’s US GUYS! :P you can’t complain about anything, or do you want me to start a never ending list about how women are? :P
    Btw, even a GF can’t be jealous of her guy’s car, that’s one aspect where GFs don’t have any right over :P.

    AW i liked that car too, i could play with the pretty buttons on the CD player and and go AHHHH *SCREAMMS* *CRIES* and IM GOOING TOO DIIEE!!! :P
    P.s i finished my assignemnt in two or so hours. I did half it wrong when i checked my book in uni, but i dont care haha! Oh i didnt read over ur questions though for soem reason :P!

    Coz i dun’t have any place to keep her, my sis’s got a new car, and logically, the oldest one needs to go, and that’s her :( sniff sniff.

    well, don’t really like the clio that much, cause it’s SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO small, and feels XTREMELY lady-like :P duh, but yea.. i guess i’ll love her too :P.

    en tout cas, i like the 306…
    all the peugeots are nice looking but i got a problem with those small cars…
    mo pas rentrer in it!
    akoz mo longue lipieds, enfin lajambes, enfin, mo trop long… :P(n)

    anyway, thats life…separating from things we like the most… :’(
