Been a pretty interesting night for football yesterday with two major matches [ for me ] - West Ham v/s Liverpool [ counting for the English Premier League ] and Barcelona v/s AC Milan [ Champions League Semi-Final Second Leg].
Another important win for Liverpool (2-1) [ YEAYY ] with 2 goals from Djibril Cisse though we lost Luis Garcia, who was shown a straight red card after a clash with West Ham’s Hayden Mullins, who also saw red. LG’s sending off came only 2 mins after he got onto the pitch after being substituted in place of Robbie Fowler - now that’s funny :P.
Barcelona v/s AC Milan ended 0-0 but it was a thriller of a match with loads of missed chances at both ends of the field. The football was great with some superd display of skill by Ronaldinho for Barca without producing any goals unfortunately. Barca who wins on aggregate (1-0) moves on to the finals with Arsenal.
I followed the Barca v/s Ac Milan match on the telly in the kitchen - the other tv sets are in my parents’ and sis’s rooms - so that’s the only place left for me to watch the matches that late and anyway, there’s no better access to food than there :P. However, i had a lil suprise for me, i had to watch the match in black and white -.- *sighs* guess there’s a prob wiv the tv antenna i wasnt gonna fix it at that time o.O - just had to keep watching the football with a bit of a retro style.
