As I said in my previous post, I had to present myself to court today, to settle a matter of speeding. Beb decided she would accompany me, so I picked her up this morning, and headed towards the district court of Curepipe, see below, nothing fancy about it :P. It’s my first time going there and I managed to get a parking right in front of it cool eh.

I thought we would be spending the whole day there, the public sector is usually as slow as snails! However, we got lucky, when I got my court order, they also sent along a letter of guilt that I could fill in - some sort of acceptance of my crime (A) so I could simply hand it over, pay the fine and it’ll be over - without having to go before the court magistrate.

I got this sneak shot of the inside of the court room, pic got blurred again - sorry about that.

I now have 8 days to pay up my fine of Rs 1,000 (around US $35). The pay counter wasn’t opening until 1 P.M and it was still 9 A.M. So we headed back towards home and stopped at Super U for breakfast - pastries and hot black coffee :D.

Beb has been almost threatening me since we went to see The Transformers to bring her to see The Simpsons movie at the theatre and since I had nothing else planned for the day, I suggested we go for the early showing at 11.30 A.M.

We enjoyed it - and the SpiderPig bit must have been our fav :P.

By the time the movie was over, it was time for lunch! We headed to this pizzeria near my place Pizza Dot Kom, we’ve been there quite often lately! It’s been freshly renovated with more choices on the menu and we went for its meatiest ever pizza, which has chicken ham, chicken, beef, lamb! We enjoyed that one too :p.

There’s a cool figure I like to see in the pizzeria, it’s that of a ‘Winking Buddha Face’, it goes along well with the environment around it and blends along with the colours and surroundings - Note to Mauritians - do try out Pizza Dot Kom some day, it’s nice!

OH MY GAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWD!

I’ve turned 23 yesterday and suddenly this number makes me feel like.. SO OLD! :O :O I don’t remember feeling the same when I turned 22 o.O. Weird!

I haven’t been blogging much lately either, I was abroad [ again ] for the past 11-12 days and I just reached home this morning. I took the pic above yesterday in my hotel room in Dubai, out of boredom - I was waiting to check out of the room.

Duhh! Feeling tired, need to crawl in bed soon I guess. Oh! I got a surprise gift when I got back home today. See below.

It’s a court order to present myself this very Monday to pay up one of my various speed excess fines. *SIGHSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS* This couldn’t come at a better time. -.- Sorry for the blurred pic, just took this - and can’t really be bothered to get a better one!
