The slalom for the Rally season 2006 was held today @ Trianon, I was there with Kyle.
I didn’t know that Mauritians liked attending rallies that much! It was the first time that I ever saw so many spectators, they were like E.V.E.R.Y-W.H.E.R.E, a large number of vehicles even parked on the motorway and people were watching from there [ partly visible from the pictures below]; typically Mauritian behaviour, yea :P.
Actually, I didn’t really enjoy today’s rally, mainly ‘coz there were so many people, and it was hard to find a suitable spot to get to watch the cars, and I ended up getting my ass constantly poked by some very stingy bush plants, and I can assure you, it doesn’t feel good >.> *duh* .
I only managed to get a few half-decent pics; most of them came out with major flaws, too baddddddddddddd.
And now my personal favourite for this season’s rally; Xavier’s Rav4 GT which has been simply amazing all the way.
A Mauritian rally wouldn’t be complete without the Mini’s of course!! 
[ notice the lil backwheel off the ground in the 1st couple pics ]…
Nor.. without any breakdowns. Alas. Was funny though, how they needed like 10 guys to push the car away from the track :P.
AND!!! The BEST car participating, surely had to be THIS one! 
I don’t have any info bout this ride, not even the MAKE or MODEL :/ the only thing I can say is that it’s VERY OLD!

EDIT: Thanks to Fausto btw who commented on this entry and had some info about this car; it’s a Simca Rally 2 - which is around 30 years of age…

FYI monn terminn zouer la. Drifting mari suck ladan. Dan normal race, Mercedes SLR la bon pou drift, gallardo ena tro bookoo grip ek li understeer - pa tro kontan sa mwa.

Sorry i have alot of posts to catch up and i have nothign to say about cars, and im SO tired since i had to write four essays just now!!

haha no exams are harsh, i had done like 6 within two days and then this whole week i had one one one except for tuesday - id dint get exam entrance to that hahahaha! shhhh! and and i had my second last one today.. my hand soo soo sooo sore :P!
