Squid Craving

Category: Food, General |

Terence, James, beb and myself went to White Swan restaurant [or as we call it, White Swing] last night for dinner, we had been planning this ‘trip’ since days and our top of list dish for the night was SQUID or Calamari as it is usually denoted in menus.

We had been craving so much for Calamari that we were even going nuts about it - to say the least!

-> Our MSN nicknames had the ‘SQUID |’ tag to the front.
-> Our conversations were almost only about Calamari.
-> James had a countdown for the day also on his nick.
-> ….and… I kept seeing Calamari dishes in front of me!

Freaky right? :P

Someone was doubtful about whether we could finish all of the starters we had ordered :P but we did it in the end!

List of the starters :
- 3 portions of Calamari ‘Au Beurre D’ail’ - Anyone has the English translation for the quoted part? Besides BUTTER AILED or A LA BUTTER AIL - thank you! - The name suggested by Christina would actually be ‘Garlic Butter Calamari’ - Thx ;)
- 1 portion of Crispy Calamari.
- 2 portions of ‘Fondant’ Beef.

Hrem.. quite a handful for only 4 people, but you should understand that we were almost ready to KILL for having SQUID!!

We had a lighter main course though with:
- Lemon Chicken.
- Sweet and Sour Fish
- Sizzling Deer; all accompanied with rice.

*burp* :D
I’ve uploaded only 1 pic, that of the Calamari ‘Au Beurre D’ail’ starter, because I didn’t bother to take shots of the other dishes nor of us, since we were more interested in the food than shot snappin!

I’ll *TRY* getting a couple more shots next time we go to White Swing, which should be in around a couple of weeks or so.
