I’ve been trying to blog about this for the past days - but due to some very hardcore laziness, I wasn’t able to (a).
SO!
The Squid Squad had its first outing on Tuesday, since it was a public holiday, Ougadi - if am not mistaken. We decided to have something else for a change, other than the usual dinner at the restaurant stuff and for that we needed some place that would be nice to go to!
Squid Squad | Terence came up with the place to go! Pute Dan L’herbe Butte A L’Herbe.
I had never heard of the place before! o.O but according to Terence, the place was “MAGNIFIQUE!” - the squad agreed to head towards this place somewhere in the North which none other than Terence knew!
Fortunately, my Mauritius map I always keep in the car came in handy, because Terence forgot the exact location of the place! DUH!

The day started well, I picked up beb from her place + James and Terence in Port Louis and I was ‘flying’ on the motorway [ as usual ] towards the North… until… I saw that guy in blue standing in the middle of the road with his hands showing me towards the side road… NOOOOOOOOOOOOO not AGAIN! 
I was gonna get fined for speeding!
Before I braked to an stop, I managed to glance at the speedometer, it was reading between 130 and 140 Km/h *oops* [ the speed limit is 90km/h btw], fortunately, they clocked me before that, and they got me at 108 Km/h :P. So I was pretty ‘happy’ with that, I chose to take the fixed penalty fine - I’ll have to present myself to the Pamplemousses District Court before the end of April… sighs..
We had lunch when we reached Grand Bay at the food court next to Super U - we had Pizza Hut and KFC - Sorry, no pics of lunch! We were starving! (A) - rite.
We finally reached Butte A L’Herbe around half an hour after lunch. It’s really a nice place - since there aren’t many people as on the other public beaches, where you won’t see much of the beach itself!
James was obviously happier than anyone else to have reached our destination.
I didn’t take many shots of the place itself, we were too busy ‘exploring’ and having fun at each other! I’ve only a couple of half decent pics to show:
And we weren’t the only ones exploring! Those tourists got another feel to the area :P.
James [ yea, again him! ] thought he might have a go at advertising, and posed next to the Megane [which I took for the long trip ] ! So, be ready people, you might soon find DA JAE soon on those giant billboards by the side of the road :P.

The day ended unexpectedly into fits of laughter for us! I won’t elaborate more on this - this has to be a Squad secret, eh?

Even with the map we got lost at first eh :P.Hahaha!And we were all like looking for the famous rock written “Plage public” on it!
yea! and that’s coz of Terence! He didn’t remember the way
Thx to u, I’ve come to know about this nice place :p Seems worth to spend some time there :p One mistake you’ve made though…now that u’ve put this online, soon you will see more people there, taking your own words: “where you won’t see much of the beach itself!”
