Tuning Show

Category: Cars, General |

I’ve been receiving some ‘complaints’ from my readers that I post too much about cars! Yea am talking bout you girls!!! Cuppy and Aline! :P
Well, I’ve taken this into consideration, and I’ve decided that my next post, would be about.. well.. CARS again! Sorry ladies :P I’ve tried hard! I don’t have anything else to blog about! For real (a).

I was accompanied by Kyle and Terence a.k.a xt1nC, Mr James was supposed to be there too! *hrem* I WON’T FORGET THAT JAE!!!! I WON’T!!!!!

The cars were nice, mostly, a few didn’t have their place there, in my opinion. The show would have been great if only they had organized it somewhere more spacious; there were so many people that within an hour, that it was hard to see the cars properly. Duh. Anyway, it was good job on organizing the event in the first place.

I took only a few shots, couldn’t get almost any decent ones with the cars because of the huge crowd.

Am having fun with making short clips and posting them to Youtube lately :P. The quality of the clips are crap, I know! Am sorry, I can’t provide with anything better! :P The first clip is about the BMW Cabriolet I’ve shot above.

The second clip, a lil bit longer than the first, features a few other BMW’s starting with a MONSTER of a car, a V8 BMW 5 series, damn I L.O.V.E the sound that comes from this car.

I remember racing the BMW ‘325′ back in 2000. I remember clearly that it was a 2 door coupe, not a convertible, what the f*** happened to it?

    That day, the 193bhp beemer (325i) got beaten by a 150bhp Audi A4 (1.8T) :)

Thanks for the comments Shaan. :)
Most pro’lly what happened is that the car you raced back in the days got another number plate :). That’s pretty common here among the BMW “club owners”.

+ the black convertible used to be Bright Yellow, I like the black paint it got, but the yellow one was much more attracting. [ You’ve been added to my blogroll btw ;) ]

heps!!! those are some nice shots and glad you could make it to the show… somehow it feels like my car wasn’t good enough for you lol, you took only a headshot.

anyway i read in the previous posts that you wanted your dad to get an mz3, anyway, did he decide on anything? hope for you he didn’t get the lancer or the sunny heh.

    Thanks for dropping by ;)
Actually it’s not that i didn’t like ur car :P
I only managed to get a few pics of the cars on show because there were too many people around them, messing up the shots ;)
Actually no, we haven’t decided on the car yet, but it’s gonna be between the Mazda 3, and the Lancer.

yeah anyway i understand the mad crowd problem… i had all my photogear with me but i didn’t even feel like pulling them out of the trunk lol.

in anycase if you’re going for the mazda3 and you’re planning on buying from the local dealer (axess) keep in mind that, you won’t have rear discs brakes… and that’s pretty much the only thing pissing me off lol. also because we have only the 1.6 variant here, well, you’ll feel the lack of aftermarket parts for this engine. i’m basically going nuts bloody everyday trying to figure out stuff.

now if you’re going the recon route you might get the 1.6L from singapore, basically, 4speed Automatic (with manual overide) with rear disc brakes, the works. if you’re getting the japanese one you’re gonna get the 1.5L but weirdly, that engine is peppier than the 1.6L at the crank. meaning it’s faster on the lower rpm band than the 1.6L.

    phew man.

that’s a really Mazda review you’ve given here.

thanks for sharing ;) - but I’m going for a new car, i don’t trust the recond ones.

lol, well i know the car inside out so i was just trying to shed some light on your choices…
